Alamo Club is one of our fave spots for comfort food, and its covered patio makes it perfect for those chilly nights! Cozy up with some hearty pot roast pappardelle, chicken & dumplings, and chili. They also have tea and warm cocktails to pair with!

Lower Greenville | Directions



Find a cozy atmosphere inside in one of the many rooms, which have a Southwestern-type vibe! Come in for some homemade meatloaf and pot roast with all the classic comfort food sides. And because this is southern homestyle cooking, you can’t skip their pie, cobbler, or banana pudding!

Lover's Lane | Directions



Drake's is a swanky, old Hollywood-inspired steakhouse with delicious comfort food and cocktails! Choose from mac n cheese, honey truffle chicken, and other dishes that are sure to warm you up. The vibe also makes for a great place to sip on their World's Coldest Martini made with frozen vodka and citrus bitters!

Truly a dream for foodies around, the Dream Cafe offers incredible comfort food! The chicken fried steak and chicken and waffles are faves on the menu for a reason. It's the perfect spot for brunch with friends or a chill evening!

Fount is one of our faves for many reasons, but we love the cozy seasonal vibes found inside year round and how the outside looks like an adorable historic home! The posh, moody aesthetic is idyllic for soaking in some much-needed “me time” with a coffee drink and a grilled cheese!

Uptown | Directions



Find an all-around great experience is the Dallas gem, Gemma! The aesthetic is more coastal and casual with lively vibes. The food is upscale American flare with an amazing braised rabbit pappardelle, hanger steak, and rigatoni. We love sitting on the patio or at one of their intimate two-top tables!

Henderson | Directions



Find all of the cozy vibes at HH! This great rooftop bar boasts stunning views of downtown, heated patios, and an ooey-gooey grilled cheese with Texas toast, garlic butter, cheddar and gouda, and roasted tomato soup. They also have a giant HH pretzel that you can share with friends!

Uptown | Directions



A beloved district pub to have a pint of Guinness with a pretzel and beer cheese! If you're looking to get rid of the Sunday scaries, come in for some comforting Sunday roast made with seasonal vegetables, roasted potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and traditional gravy. It always hits the spot!

Enjoy some of the best soup noodles and handmade dumplings in the city! Start with an order of their drool-worthy dumplings, from pork with Napa cabbage to chicken with mushrooms and shrimp with zucchini. Neighborhood Services is a local bar and grill on Lover's since '08 serving daily plates of comfort food. Indulge in chicken pot pie on Tuesdays, meatloaf on Wednesdays, short rib stroganoff on Thursdays, chicken parm on Fridays, and more delicious plates on the weekend!

This cozy Irish pub definitely feels like stepping into old Ireland! Old Monk’s bar is the perfect place for the winter with the wood interiors, Guinness always on tap, and solid comfort food like a delicious and comforting French onion soup and a pretzel with cheese ale sauce that’s perfect for chilly weather!

El Fenix is a casual Tex-Mex spot that has been around for over a century! Enjoy their famous homemade chicken tortilla soup and regular tortilla soup, both served with fresh chunks of avocado and slices of lemon. Select the size of your bowl, dress your soup to your preference, and dig in!

Foxtrot is a Chicago-founded and cult-favorite cafe and market providing a cozy rotating soup menu! We love to pick up a ready-to-heat cup of tomato bisque, sweet potato, creamy spinach, chicken noodles, southwestern black bean, and more. You can also find a full coffee and wine bar, pantry items, and healthy grab-and-go meals!

Las Palmas is a go-tp Tex-Mex spot in the heart of Uptown, and serves up a tortilla soup that's so good, you could practically drink it! If you're looking for something that's a little on the heavier side, then the charro bean soup is for you. Both are equally delicious options and will get you warmed up in no time!

Mendo is always a go-to spot for us! Their diverse menu of soups always hits the spot and we love that they focus on using fresh and quality ingredients free from added hormones, artificial sweeteners, flavors, and food dyes. Give their Thai curry squash soup, Greek lemon chicken and farro soup, and roasted tomato-basil soup a go!

There is no shortage of good Mexican food in Dallas but Meso Maya is especially famous when it comes to authentic Mexican soup! While Whiskey Hatchet is known as a place to throw axes and catch a game, their soup is definitely another highlight of theirs! The delicious grilled cheese is made with cheddar cheese and Havarti, plus comes with a citrus fig jam tomato soup that is to die for. It's topped with honey-whipped goat cheese, and you can add prosciutto or sopressata!
