Ayahuasca Cantina
Recently voted one of the best bars in the U.S. by Esquire, this moody speakeasy transports you to Mexico! Find it in the back of Xaman Cafe, serving up an eclectic array of traditional Mexican dishes, like al pastor fish tacos, pork mole, grilled octopus, and more. To sip, they offer over a hundred agave spirits, with a focus on mezcal and sotol!
Bar Eden
Located inside Paradiso, this swanky bar is perfect for a date night or GNO! The lush and ethereal space feels like you’ve just stepped inside a secret garden. Sip fun cocktails like the Paradise Found, a tropical rum, banana, and lime cocktail, or The Wanderer which is made with green tea vodka, peach, and cucumber! Plus, snack on small bites like oysters, truffle fries, and more.
Casablanca
Take a vacay without leaving Dallas at this Moroccan-inspired lounge! The gorgeous space is decked out in colorful prints and tiles, rattan hanging lanterns, and tropical plants. Grab a seat inside to enjoy globally inspired dishes like blistered shishito peppers, sweet and sour dumplings, taro chips, and more. The energy here is high at night, so grab a seat on the patio to relax with a cocktail or head to the dance floor or karaoke room!
LadyLove Lounge & Sound
Voted the best new cocktail lounge of 2023 by our followers, LadyLove is truly unlike any other bar in Dallas! Founded by the owners of Spinster Records, the DJs here only spin vinyl. The retro space is a go-to for late-night dancing, with different themes and genres each night. On the menu, you’ll find old-school Americana eats like tuna sliders and fried green beans, alongside an array of funky cocktails!
Lucia
Known as one of the toughest reservations to get in Dallas, Lucia was nominated for a James Beard Award this year! The intimate restaurant is chef-owned and boasts a cozy, traditional Italian vibe. The menu rotates frequently, but you can expect a variety of meats ranging from salumi to foie gras, handmade pastas, seasonal vegetables, fresh seafood, and rich desserts. It’s a must-try for special occasions or date night if you can snag a res!
Nora Restaurant
This elegant Middle Eastern bistro serves upscale Afghan cuisine that’s approachable and delicious! The owner and chef, Matt Pikar, created the restaurant with a goal of making Afghan cuisine more well known in DFW. He was even featured on Food Network for it! The restaurant serves classic dishes like dolmas, hummus, kebabs, and stews (our fave) like chalao and korma. They have plenty of gluten free and veggie options too!
Paradiso
Escape to a lavish oasis via this riviera-chic restaurant! Paradiso is one of the best spots in Dallas for brunch, lunch or dinner with the girls, from the Instagrammable interior to the peaceful patio. Their menu feels like a vacation too, featuring refreshing and fruity cocktails and lots of coastal cuisine like seafood and pasta.
Tejas
True to its name, this spot offers three things most Texans love: tacos, margaritas, and all things Texas! The bright and airy space is lively and a great place to hang with friends. On the menu, you’ll find one of our favorite ceviches in Dallas, frozen and rocks margs in fun flavors, classic taco plates, and even top-shelf fajitas filled with wagyu, shrimp, and more.
The Trove
For a fun night out, head to this small yet vibey lounge! The coloful space features purple lighting, pink booths, and over-the-top chandeliers. Their craft cocktails have a Latin flair, with a focus on tequila or mezcal and unique ingredients To eat, order a few dishes to share with friends, like the indulgent 14K guacamole – yes, it’s made with 14 carat gold! They also frequently host drag brunches that are a blast!
Written By The Seasons
For high-quality food, Written By The Seasons is a no-brainer. Their farm-to-table menu rotates often, revolving around seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. While subject to change, some dishes you may find include homemade sourdough, kimchi pancakes, branzino, duck confit, and more. They also have an incredible wine list that they can help you pair with your meal and a fabulous partially enclosed patio for dining al fresco.

Coco’s Fire & Ice
Find this hidden gem in the back of Mercado369, serving authentic Mexican on a colorful patio! The small space truly feels like you’ve stumbled upon a well-kept secret, and their menu will have you wanting to tell your friends about it. Enjoy agua frescas, carajillos, and margs to drink, and to eat feast on classics like ceviche, chile relleno, tacos, enchiladas, fajitas, and more.
Eno’s Tavern
Kick back, relax, and enjoy pizza and beer at this casual spot! Eno’s is known for its gourmet thin-crust pizzas and extensive craft beer list. This spot supports local through and through, making pizzas with local ingredients like Jimmy’s Food Store’s Hot Italian Sausage, Local Yocal’s Beef Short Rib, cheese from Scardello, and community-grown heirloom tomatoes. The beers on draught are almost all from DFW breweries, too!
Oddfellows
A neighborhood staple for fourteen years, casual-chic gem Oddfellows is a go-to anytime of day, open from brunch ‘til late! The menu is full of American fare that combines chef-driven comfort foods with quality seasonal ingredients. You truly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the burgers, sandwiches, and buffalo mac and cheese are longtime favorites. Sip on a spritz, unique wine, or handcrafted coffee with your meal!
Revelers Hall
Calling all music lovers! You need to check out this beloved jazz bar. Revelers Hall is a small slice of New Orleans right here in DFW, with live music nightly, a vibrant atmosphere, and elevated bar food with a Cajun flair. Grab a seat, a martini, and a po boy, and let the music whisk you away to the French Quarter!
Sketches of Spain
This old house turned modern tapa bar is a must-try in the neighborhood! It’s a great spot for groups, as the menu is focused on small bites and drinks to share. The best way to enjoy? Grab a seat on the peaceful patio, split a pitcher of sangria, and order some paella, patatas bravas, and croquettes for the table.
