We’re all about trying new fitness studios and are so excited to welcome Coast Cycle to the scene, which also happens to be Oak Lawn’s first spin studio! Plus they have an awesome story and your first class is free!

Updated October 2022

The idea behind Coast came after one of the co-founders, Sabrina Roy, unexpectedly lost her brother Cristian. Sabrina spent time at home in Newport Beach finding solace in spin at the studio she grew up riding at. She reconnected with Marisa Wayne, founder of this award-winning studio and daughter of film icon John Wayne, who already had her sights set on Texas for her next venture.

With 5 years of teaching cycle to the Dallas community under her belt, Sabrina decided to open her own studio in honor of her brother. She joined forces with Marisa and Bill Gorman, another entrepreneur, and Coast Cycle was born!

Cristian was an avid surfer, so Coast was the natural name when deciding what to call the studio! The logo, a combination of a C with waves, is not only for Coast but also for Cristian, derived from a logo created to honor him. The ambiance is calming yet powerful, with the goal of embracing whoever walks through the doors with open arms.

PS: If you need another reason to visit, they recently went viral on TikTok for their Swiftie Saturday ride and Taylor herself liked the video!

We’ve taken a few classes and needless to say - we’re hooked! The classes are rhythmic-based meaning you ride to the beat of the music without screens or monitors. The instructors want you to feel the music and ride the wave, it’s really special for both first-timers and advanced spinners!

Your first class is complementary, and shoes are provided! Aside from package options which can be found on the website, Coast launched their new intro membership options including 8 classes for $190 or 12 classes for $265. If you lock this rate in now, you get to keep it even after the offer ends!

So grab your workout crew and sign up for you first free classat Coast Cycle! Enjoy the ride!
