WALK THIS WAY EXHIBITION

The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum has debuted the “Walk this Way” exhibition featuring Stuart Weitzman’s private collection of historic shoes. From vintage YSL, Weitzman originals, and spectator pumps signed by the 1941 New York Yankees, “Walk this Way” features more than 100 pairs of shoes spanning nearly 200 years of history! This exhibition has been organized by the New-York Historical Society.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Women’s history is the focus of this exhibition as it explores a variety of shoes, including those worn by suffragists as they fought for their rights, Jazz Age flappers as they danced the Charleston, and movie stars in the post-war era. Not only do you get to marvel at the historical shoes, but you will follow in the footsteps of history with stories of women’s labor activism, the fight for suffrage, and the sexual revolution.

DALLAS HOLOCAUST AND HUMAN RIGHTS MUSEUM

The 55,000-square-foot museum, located in downtown Dallas, offers a mix of permanent exhibitions on the Holocaust and human rights to special rotating exhibitions.
