Dan Hilbert, a true East Coast native, spent 18 years commuting throughout NYC and his daily ritual included grabbing a coffee and a bagel! When he relocated to DFW he couldn’t find anything that compared to his NYC bagels so he decided to bring the flavors of Manhattan to DFW, and Dan’s Bagels was born!
Dan’s specializes in sourdough bagels made from scratch, using a secret dough-rising process that their bakers start at 3 am! While the iconic Rainbow Bagels have stolen the spotlight, they have a bunch of flavors to choose from including classics plus rotating specials like chocolate chip and even a GF option too! Their bagels tend to sell out daily, so get there early or check their website for a live feed of what’s in stock!
Pair your bagels with one of their many shmears like cinnamon brown sugar, blueberry, strawberry, and more! Plus, they’re all made with fresh herbs, fruit, or veggies and have no dyes or artificial flavors!

You’ll also find egg sandwiches, deli sandwiches, and lunch salad sandwiches that you can pair with their homemade classic crumb cake! Their sandwiches gave us all the authentic East Coast deli vibes, and the ingredients are the real deal! All their fish come from Samaki’s Smoked Fish which they import from NY, and their ham is Taylor Ham aka the OG Pork Roll meat from NJ!
