Café Dior by Dominique Crenn has officially arrived in Dallas, in Highland Park Village! And we just stopped by to see it (and enjoy a cocktail) so that we could give you all the 101 on one of the biggest openings of the year!

Café Dior DALLAS
Dallas has joined an exclusive list of cities, including Paris, Miami, and Tokyo, as home to a Café Dior. While most locations focus on coffee and pastries, the Dallas outpost elevates the experience with a fine dining concept.
For the past year, there’s been a buzz about what would replace Starbucks in HPV. One of the biggest rumors? That Ralph Lauren’s coffee shop, Ralph’s, was set to take over. Instead, Dior Café was announced across the street, and NYC’s trendy Khaite took over the former Starbucks space.
FINE DINING MEETS FASHION
The space aims to merge French luxury with culinary artistry…step into a bright yet small space surrounded by art and natural light. The ~dozen tables come adorned with Dior’s very own dishware and glassware for a complete experience!
AN MICHELIN-STARRED DINING EXPERIENCE
Café Dior is set to be a next-level culinary destination in partnership with Dominique Crenn, the renowned three-Michelin-starred chef behind Atelier Crenn in San Francisco.
A few standout dishes from the menu include:
- Montaigne Garden: A delicate zucchini and apple salad with sherry vinaigrette
- Tuna Violette: Bigeye tuna with dashi and sweet potato chips
- Salmon Barbizon: Ora King salmon with beurre blanc and parsley
- Drapé Tart: Beets, feta cheese, Leche de Tigre
LUNCH & TEA SERVICE
Despite its luxurious feel, the café is open for lunch, making it a perfect spot for an elevated afternoon escape. Café Dior also offers an afternoon tea menu, featuring an assortment of savory bites like Caviar and Watercress Choux and sweet treats like a Pina Colada Baba au Rhum, at $75 per person.
WALK-UP BAR SEATING
While reservations are currently fully booked (who snagged one?!), there is still a way to experience the café without one: The bar! It’s available for walk-ins, for cocktails, caviar, and bread and butter service.
A FEW MORE DETAILS
Café Dior is open from 10am to 6pm Monday through Saturday and from noon to 5pm on Sundays. Reservations are made on their website, where you can also request to receive notifications for cancellations on specific days.
DOES IT LIVE UP TO THE HYPE?
So far, from what we have heard from people who have been, the ambiance and service do live up to the hype! However, feedback on the food has been mixed…that the flavors don’t perhaps meet expectations.
OUR THOUGHTS
We personally LOVED our cocktail - the J’Adior, a $24 (gold) white Negroni. Expensive (others are ~$18) but worth the price…it was stunning as it was strong and delicious! But our team has yet to secure a reservation, so we can’t weigh in on food just yet.
