And fun fact, the school district actually speaks over 100 languages which is a true testament of the amazing diversity present in the city!

DOWNTOWN REDESIGN

When you’re strolling around downtown, you might notice some construction as it is undergoing a huge redesign project, which will bring new life to downtown with more walkable sidewalks and some really exciting updates. Stay tuned for the revamp!

 

MORE HAPPENINGS

On the third Thursday of every month, sip and shop from 5-8 PM throughout Garland's variety of downtown businesses with a complimentary drink while taking advantage of their extended business hours! Plus stay tuned for their Sounds of Summer Concert Series that returns in May! Every other Thursday through July, enjoy free live music and food vendors in one of the various parks around Garland! May 12, May 26 and June 9 will be held at Audubon Park and June 23, July 7 and July 21 will be held at Winters Park.
