If you love Brazilian steakhouses, you have to check out EG Steak in Frisco. This family-owned spot is run by Brazilian founders, which means everything from the meats to the sides and desserts feels genuinely authentic! After eating here, we saw why this spot has become a favorite for Brazilians and locals across DFW!

EG STEAK

Founded in 2013 by brothers-in-law David Jeiel and Alex Nunes, EG Steak was born from their dream to share the traditions of their home country with DFW. Inspired by the Gaúcho style of Southern Brazil, they’ve created a true churrasco experience where the meats are aged in-house for 30 days and served by a staff that is genuinely passionate about what they do!

THE MENU

EG Steak offers a modern take on the traditional Brazilian steakhouse experience. Start with their Harvest Table, a chef-curated spread of fresh salads, roasted vegetables, cured meats, imported cheeses, and warm sides like garlic mashed potatoes and classic Brazilian dishes like feijoada (we loved it topped with farofa)!

The stars of the show are, of course, the meats. The classic picanha was amazing, but the spicy picanha marinated in a house blend of seven spices was next level and one of our favorites of the night! The beef short ribs were another standout, slow-cooked for six hours over an open flame until they were tender enough to fall apart with a fork!

For dessert, enjoy authentic Brazilian sweets such as Pudim de Leite (Brazilian flan), Papaya Cream, Fireball Cheesecake, and more! To end the night, we had the Fireball Cheesecake and sipped on Brazilian limoncello and tequila, the perfect finish to an incredible meal!
