Tulum inspired space, Hugo's Lost Colony, recently opened in Highland Village, offering a one-of-a-kind dining experience with four indoor dining rooms, two bars, two patios and a fresh take on Tex-Mex favorites with craft cocktails! Considering one of us grew up in the area, we were stoked to check it out!

ATMOSPHERE

Welcome to the jungle! Hugo’s Lost Colony transports you to Tulum the moment you step inside. This space takes tropical to a new level with over-the-top, jungle-themed decor and endless areas to explore. Between the vast greenery and funky neon signs, this spot will make you forget you’re in Texas.

The main dining room, The Canopy, features a massive palm tree beneath a rich canopy of greenery that sets the tone for this expansive dining experience. There is also the Lodge that invites guests to dine in the cozy light of a fireplace or the Garden that offers natural light and a more intimate setting.

MENU

Hugo’s Lost Colony keeps it classic while putting their own fresh twist on traditional Tex-Mex dishes, like fajitas, enchiladas and bowls. They even have plant-based beef to enjoy in their fajitas! Make sure to stop by “Bar Tulum” for all the libations. From 12 frozen and on the rocks signature margaritas to Mexican and local beers, the bartenders are sure to have you sipping on the good life! 

Happy hour is on weekdays from 4 - 7pm!

21+ SPACE

If you’re looking to host a private event, check out their space No Embargo that is an adult-only outdoor patio, perfect for live music and any celebration! The space includes endless privacy, a full service team, and access to outdoor bar, Tequila Marina.
