If you had asked us a few years ago which neighborhood needed a coffee shop, we’d have instantly said Knox. With Fairgrounds Coffee, the area is no longer in need and has an adorable and extensive patio to take your work outside or catch up with friends over a cup of coffee!

The midwest-based company has locations all over the Chicago area, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis and has expanded south right here in Dallas. The company sources their ingredients from all over the world to provide a unique tasting experience in a community environment.

Coffee & Tea

Find all sorts of espresso on draft and make it a latte, cappuccino, cortado, or americano, or simply enjoy it straight. Can’t decide? They offer flights! They also have a variety of matchas and teas, kombucha on tap, and 11 elixirs including lemon matcha renewal, Vietnamese cold brew, coconut charcoal, and a pea flower Arnold palmer that changes colors!

Food Menu

We were also impressed by the wide food selection! For breakfast enjoy tacos, açaí bowls, avocado toast, and breakfast sandwiches. If you drop in for a casual lunch, find salads, healthy sandwiches, and, of course, the famous funnel cake fries!

Location & Space

Fairgrounds is located in Highland Park right across from Trader Joes on Cole Avenue, tucked behind RH. You’ll first be greeted by a large, colorful outdoor patio perfect for hanging with your pup. Step inside to a super cute and trendy space with cool lighting, tons of plants, and even rope swing chairs hanging at the bar! This concept is perfect for the Knox neighborhood and offers great coffee and work vibes!
