While the temperatures may not feel like it, Dallas is gearing up for fall, which officially starts on September 22nd! We're just as excited as y'all are, and so many fall-themed happenings have already been announced, so here are 30+ events to get on your calendars! There's truly something for everyone, from Oktoberfests and Dia de los Muertos to food festivals and pumpkin patch parties.

HUFFHINES HARVEST FEST

Huffhines fall festival 2025


This two-day arts and crafts festival features a marketplace, live music, family activities, pumpkin decorating, face-painting, scarecrow village, petting zoo, food/drink vendors, and more! On Saturday, they’ll have a “Pawtoberfest” with pet costume contests, puppy yoga, arts/crafts for dogs, & an agility course. On Sunday, don’t miss The Children’s Entrepreneur Market, featuring 50 local children, who will manage & sell items from their own booth!

Grapefest 2025

Mark your calendars for the 39th Annual GrapeFest, happening in Grapevine’s charming downtown. Main Street will be closed down to celebrate all things wine! Enjoy wine tastings, grape stomps, carnival games, live music performances, classic fair eats, and a market with local vendors.

Six Flags Over Texas is bringing back its Halloween celebration of haunted houses, scare zones, and live entertainment. Families can enjoy kid-friendly Halloween activities by day, and spooky haunts by night, complete with creepy characters in costume!

Latinidad Festival

Join the AT&T Performing Arts Center for its fourth annual Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, featuring music, shopping, and eats galore! The festival highlights dozens of Latinx-owned businesses from DFW and beyond, with vendors selling everything from handcrafted goods to authentic cuisines. Plus, see live performances like the Latinidad parade, Ballet Folklrico Alegre, DJ AMARIS, and Havana NRG, closing the night with a dance party!

A fall bucket list item for most Dallasites, the Dallas Arboretum hosts its annual pumpkin extravaganza with more than 100,000 creating a beautiful display! This year’s Pumpkin Village theme is “¡Mundo México!”. Fun fact: all the pumpkins, gourds, and squash used come from Floydada, Texas, aka the pumpkin capital of Texas!

101Media Stocktoberfest Bar Crawl

Cowtown will be the PROST-ess with the mostess at our Oktoberfest-themed bar crawl in the Fort Worth Stockyards! Come dressed in your best Oktoberfest outfit for a day full of beer, German fare, stein-hoisting competitions, live music, kegs, and more, all as you crawl along multiple stops like Second Rodeo Brewing, Sidesaddle Saloon, Star Cafe, and others! This event is 21+.

The State Fair of Texas

We’re bringing Oktoberfest to the burbs, taking over the box garden and turning it into a beer garden for the day!
