It’s official…Foxtrot is back! The once-beloved coffee shop and convenience store reopened its Knox Street location yesterday, marking its return to Dallas after a sudden closure last year.
Updated January 2025
Foxtrot Market
Foxtrot is a Chicago-founded cafe and market providing neighborhoods with local goods with a full coffee and wine bar, pantry items, elevated and healthy grab-and-go meals, and a specially curated wine selection. If you’ve been following along, you might remember our posts about their unexpected shutdowns. Now, Foxtrot is making a cautious but optimistic comeback with a fresh approach they’re calling Foxtrot 2.0.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT FOXTROT 2.0
The revamped Foxtrot is mixing the charm of its original concept with some new updates, including:
🌮 Breakfast Tacos: Dallas-exclusive options like brisket guisado, grilled veggie, and borracho bean
🥤 Old Favorites: The Coffee Date smoothie is back!
🥪 New Options: including fresh paninis and salads
🍷 Curated Market: A streamlined inventory focusing on snacks, flowers, ice cream, alcohol, and local products
P.S. We got an iced latte and we’d be lying if we said it wasn’t better than we remember it 👀
A SECOND CHANCE
Foxtrot’s sudden closures in 2024 left so many loyal customers shocked and disappointed, employees suddenly out of a job and vendors unpaid but the company’s new leadership has promised to rebuild trust with the community. And make things right with former employees, beginning with rehiring them foremost for the reopened locations.
UP NEXT?
Foxtrot on Snider Plaza near SMU is set to reopen in the coming weeks, while the Greenville and Mckinney Ave. locations won’t be returning.
