🇨🇺 The Story
Founded by Chef Eve Aronoff, Frita Batidos first opened in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 2010 and has since expanded to Detroit and Brooklyn. Inspired by visits to her grandmother in Miami and time spent in Cuba, Eve built the concept around the Cuban street food she grew up loving: fritas (Cuban-style burgers) and batidos (tropical fruit shakes)!
🍔 What to Order
You can't go wrong with the signature Chorizo Frita, a chorizo burger piled high with shoestring fries, and pair it with a Batido for the full experience.
And yes, the signature Frita has some serious burger cred: the Brooklyn location earned a spot on the New York Times' list of New York City's best burgers!
