With summer in full swing and most gyms open back for business, now is a great time to support these businesses while getting your body and mind right.

Vive is one of the premium personal training studios in Dallas, located in Oak Lawn. It offers private and semi-private sessions, elite training which includes a meal plan, and bioprint and nutrition analysis. They also offer Fascial Stretch Therapy after your sessions to ensure your muscles are getting the proper stretching and maintenance. Clients pay per session (either 30 or 60 minutes) so there’s no contracts or package commitments.

The Tribe Called Sprinters, founded by passionate Crystal Pollard, is a club in Dallas where people can train to become better runners. They practice a few days a week at locations all over Dallas. Their coaches help push you, increase your time and stamina, and help you become a more efficient sprinter and runner.

If you’re looking for yoga with views, V12 is for you! Their location in downtown Dallas near the farmer’s market offers a wide open area and fantastic views. They do have a studio, but they also offer many community workshops and outdoor group yoga sessions. They offer a variety of classes ranging from deep stretch, meditation, high intensity, and restorative.

Grit FItness is all about the girl power! Not only is it black-owned, it’s also woman-owned, with a HUG loyal following. With 3 locations in Dallas (University Park, Addison, and Design District, the Grit squad is taking over the Dallas fitness community. Grit offers over 15 classes including sculpt, cycle, HIIT, core, glutes, dance, and weight training. They sell 2 class packages, single classes, and now a virtual class package!

Known as the “PlayMakers,” Faction Play coaches are here to help you with strength training, body building, mobility, functional training, and longevity. Although they’re not doing private or semi-private sessions right now, you can still get a workout in from what they like to call their Virtual Playground. They offer all sorts of virtual classes including boxing, foundational strength, breathing, kettlebells, and bodyweight.
