Every 20 minutes, a child in the U.S. is diagnosed with a critical illness. For those families, a wish isn’t just a fun experience. It’s a transformational event that provides hope, strength, and even better health outcomes.
Unlike many organizations, every dollar raised for Make-A-Wish North Texas stays here, directly impacting local wish families. The local chapter doesn’t rely on funding from the national team. So in true World Wish Month spirit, Make-A-Wish North Texas is calling for WishMakers: local donors, volunteers, and partners who can help bring these travel wishes to life.

Make-A-Wish North Texas is seeing a significant rise in wishes that involve travel…whether it’s a trip to see the ocean for the first time, or meeting a favorite sports team, DFW kids have some creative travel wishes! While these experiences create life-changing moments for local children battling critical illnesses, they also require more funding than ever before to make them happen.
