Many Dallasites know and love Jimmy's Food Store already - and if you don’t, you’re in for a treat! This East Dallas hidden gem is staple for authentic Italian ingredients, and you can even sip on a glass of Italian wine while you shop!

JIMMY’S FOOD STORE
If you aren’t familiar with Jimmy’s, you can find it in Old East Dallas, with its red, green and white striped awning outside the corner of Fitzhugh and Bryan St. Head in to find an old-school Italian specialty shop filled with pastas, sauces, wines and an outstanding deli.
THE DELI
The deli is a bucket-list stop for Dallasites - head to the very back or the shop, put in an order for a meatball or Italian beef sub, and grab some homemade spicy sausage to take home (or find it on many menus around town!) On weekends, you may be waiting over 30 minutes for one of their sandwiches, but it’s so worth it!
WINE
Not only does Jimmy’s have a great, affordable Italian wine section, but you can head to the front counter and buy a glass of wine for $4 to $6 to enjoy in the moment, that they’ll add to your grocery tab at the end. So you can literally sip & shop at Jimmy’s!
WINE TASTINGS
Stop by on Saturdays, they have wine tastings from 11am to 4pm!
