Breweries off the beaten path

Ash and Ember Brewing

A small craft brewery in Cedar Hill about 30 minutes from Central Dallas, Ash and Ember serves up some seriously good brews in a cute taproom with a nice outdoor area. Make sure to grab some Texican barbecue from Mija Barbecue to pair. | Cedar Hill

Bitter Sisters

Up in Addison, check out this family owned brewery that specializes in ales and lagers. Visit on the first and third Saturdays of the month for a tour and tasting at 3 PM! | Addison

Odd Muse Brewing

The award for most beautiful beer cans goes to Odd Muse! They’re seriously works of art, and they’re just as good as they look! Stop by the brewery on Wednesday nights for trivia or when the sun’s out because they have a great patio. | Farmer's Branch

Outfit Brewing

Right on the edge of the Medical District sits a tiny hidden brewery with a great patio and games inside. Head there during the week to work while sipping on a brew and follow them on IG for special events, like live comedy! | Medical District

Turning Point

Near Fort Worth, you’ll find a spunky brewery that likes to have a lot of fun with its branding and beer names, like Hop ‘Splosion Experience and Zombie Break. You can enjoy events like trivia, hot wings challenges, weekday happy hours and more! | Bedford
