Did you know that there’s only a handful of Filipino restaurants in Dallas? In fact, we can only count two in Dallas proper, one of which is Marie's Kitchen, a deli hidden inside of an office building, with all day breakfast of authentic Filipino dishes.

MARIE’S KITCHEN

Opened in 2019 in an office building on Greenville Ave by Forest Lane, as an American deli for lunch goers, owners Sandy Ramos and Jay Gersan Jr also introduced Filipino breakfast items shortly after opening, and it was an immediate success!

FILIPINO FARE

Ramos and Gerson aim to introduce the dishes and flavors of their home country to those who haven’t had the opportunity to try yet. According to the Lakewood Advocate, their goal is to make Filipino cuisine part of the everyday dining conversations alongside Italian, Mexican, Thai etc. And their all-day breakfast is their way to do just that!

WHAT TO ORDER

💙 Tocilog: Marinated pork belly, rice & eggs

❤️ Tapsilog: Tapa (thin sliced steak), rice & eggs

🤍 Lumpia: fried pork spring rolls

💜 Ube Pancakes: Purple pancakes made with “ube” aka purple yam and topped with whipped cream and ube sauce...so so good

HOW TO FIND MARIE’S

It’s a pretty hard one to find. Even we were stumped! The address is 119110 Greenville Ave #103, and yes that is an office building! You’ll walk inside the first floor and go town the hallway on the right until you reach the end, where you’ll find Marie’s!

Signage is limited so you may find yourself wandering for a bit, but it’s in there, and SO worth it, we promise!!
