If you’ve been missing Mi Cocina in Uptown since they left their West Village location, we have the best news! They’re back on McKinney Ave just a few blocks up, with an expansive patio, premium upstairs bar & custom-made designs at their 22nd location.

And this location is the largest yet sitting at 11,500 sq ft.!

Updated May 2022

After moving out of the West Village space it had occupied for two decades, Mi Cocina now sits just down from Breadwinner’s and HopDoddy, in the spot previously occupied by Del Frisco's Grille. And we are so excited to announce that doors are now open!

SEIS SEGUNDOS

Now offering a large upscale bar with premium spirits and elevated experience, Mi Cocina has been tagged as “Seis Segundos.” The meaning behind the name comes from everyone's favorite mambo taxis, because when they first opened a Mambo Taxi was served every six seconds!

ABOUT

If you’re reading this caption and don’t know what “Mi Co” is, it’s a Dallas Tex-Mex institution founded in 1991. A Mambo Taxi, aka a frozen margarita swirled with house-made sangria, is a bucket list for any Dallas who loves a good margarita! Fun fact: they serve over a million each year!

So, grab your friends for a round of mambos and stop by Mi Cocina as they opened their doors to the public in their new Uptown location TODAY!
