Knox Street is where it’s at right now as the fourth restaurant in two months opens right next to Pizzana: welcoming the adorable new Green Point!

GREEN POINT

From the same owner as Fitzhugh faves Beverley's and Clifton Club comes an upscale neighborhood bistro dedicated to seafood, a rarity in Dallas. The name comes from the South African seaside spot where the owners’ grandparents hailed from, and the menu pulls from their experiences in coastal places around the US from Louisiana to Florida.

Green Point

SEAFOOD

With oyster in the name, we recommend starting with a dozen, either served as is or with a champagne vinaigrette, horseradish cream, caviar, and chive topping. A few other standouts:
+ a delicious ceviche with a passionfruit vinaigrette
+ a chilled crudo plate
+ smoked whitefish dip
+ little fried grouper sandwiches
+ an AMAZING lobster roll
+ lobster bucatini
+ a cioppino
+ seafood gumbo

You can even order a whole lobster or fresh fish if you’re staying for the entire experience.

BEYOND SEAFOOD

You may be familiar with Beverley’s delicious burger so it comes as no surprise that there’s an equally fantastic one at Green Point complete with American cheese, grilled red onion, iceberg lettuce, and a remoulade. Or try the Chicken Piccata and Steak au Poivre.

DRINKS

Green Point emphasizes its wine program because a crisp white or light rose is the perfect pairing for a plate of refreshing seafood. But we also recommend trying the cocktails!

DESSERT

There are a few options to choose from but we have to say, the lemon bar was outstanding and not something to miss, even if just sitting at the bar for wine and oysters.

VISITING

You can make reservations on Resy for dinner, although they aren’t required, but right now, you definitely need one! Green Point will also serve lunch, beginning in December.
