Pine Isle is the newest takeout-only gem on Fitzhugh, serving up Hawaiian comfort food that’s super fresh, nostalgic, and full of flavor. This concept is a heartfelt tribute to Lāna’i and O’ahu, and it’s truly one of our new go-to takeout spots!

PINE ISLE

Founder Kevin Singharaj may be a familiar name in the local food scene because his family launched Zaap Kitchen back in 2017. But Pine Isle is his personal passion project, inspired by years working with Nobu in Dallas and the Hawaiian Islands. The space next door to Zaap became available, and he saw the perfect opportunity to bring a slice of island life to Dallas!

Pine Isle

FROM LĀNA’I TO FITZHUGH

Pine Isle features Hawaiian lunch plates and local street food with a menu that has meat options, fresh seafood, and Asian-influenced flavors. Everything is made from scratch, with ingredients and recipes that reflect the soul of the islands.

WHAT WE TRIED

🐠 Poke Bowl: with shoyu ahi & salmon over half rice, half salad

🥢 Pork Lau Lau: slow-cooked and wrapped in taro leaves

🍗 Mochiko Chicken: crispy, tender, and served with mac & salad

🍟 Garlic Kimchi Fries: a little on the spicy side, but has a great kick

LOCATION & DETAILS

Find it at 2325 N Fitzhugh Ave. #104 next to Zaap Kitchen in East Dallas! It’s designed for takeout and delivery only (order via their IG or ToastTab), but there are two small tables if you’re lucky enough to grab one!
