We finally headed up to the mixed-use space, CityLine DFW, and had ourselves a perfect Friday night in the burbs, starting with a classic Texan meal at Good Union Urban BBQ! In addition to dining, we also enjoyed live music, shopping local vendors through their monthly night market, and great community!

Cityline Development
Located at the intersection of PGBT and 75 in north Richardson, CityLine is a 200-acre development comprised of over 30 restaurants, a hotel, 2 city parks, and a centrally-located urban plaza designed by none other than the team behind Klyde Warren Park. It offers a very similar atmosphere minus the skyscrapers!
We dined at Good Union BBQ, which sits right on the plaza overlooking the lawn. Find pulled pork, brisket, ribs, tacos, and loaded spuds made daily. Everything was fresh and delicious, but what really stuck out was the cornbread - it was addicting! They also have a full bar serving local craft beers and cocktails using mostly Texas liquors - and don’t miss out on happy hour Monday-Friday from 3-7!
Weekend Happenings
It’s open every day and night of the week, but Friday and Saturday nights are when it shines! Snag a table on any of the patios, listen to live music, or grab a drink to-go and wander the space. You can also bring a blanket or chairs and spread out on the lawn! Live music will continue through June and will pick up again the fall with markets popping up throughout.
