Updated June 2021

Built in Plano in 1959 by famous Texan Herbert Hunt, The Texas Pool is a 168,000-gallon saltwater pool shaped like the state of Texas. The pool opened to the public in 1961 and has been a summertime oasis for families + tourists for 60 years. In 2019 The Texas Pool was officially added to the National Register of Historic Places!

Membership & Pricing

The admission fee for a day pass to the pool is $10 per person for both children and adults and can be purchased at the gate when you get there!
