After a few months’ hiatus over the winter (and a short stint as Tipsy Elf), Mermaid Bar is BACK right in time for the warm weather, starting tonight, Saturday at 5 pm!

MERMAID BAR

The Mermaid Bar is another instagrammable concept by Exxir Hospitality of Paradiso, Casablanca and Tejas. And it actually sits at the front side of Paradiso right on N Bishop Ave…you can’t miss the pastel colored lounge furniture and umbrellas calling you in!

Mermaid Bar aims to be the perfect place for cocktails and light coastal appetizers, with an elevated beach patio atmosphere. And it hits the spot, making it truly one of our top recommendations for a “GNO” (or girls night out) spots.

THE SPACE

Most of Mermaid Bar is outside on the brick patio that faces the street. The indoor portion is dedicated to the shimmery blue tiled bar with stunning glass taps. Head there to order a cocktail and then find a seat among the adorable retro beach patio sets, whether you want pink or striped blue and white or green with tropical pillows. It’s all just so picture perfect!

MENU

The list of options is easy with three cocktails and four apps. Choose from the Stranger Tides, Between The Sea & Stars or Oyster Thief, or a glass of champagne, and pair with oysters, shrimp cocktail, rosemary garlic French fries, fried artichoke and a meat or cheese board. 

Stop by during your mid day wander around Bishop Arts or start your evening off there, OR for a post dinner drink… it’s perfect for any of those options. 

The Mermaid Bar is open Wednesday-Sunday, from 5-10 pm, and reservations aren’t required.
