Dallas Veterans Day Parade

Celebrate both active military and veterans at the annual Veterans Day Parade on November 11th! Military vehicles and equipment, veterans organizations, and civic and corporate displays will be available for viewing at 9:30 AM before the parade. Then, the celebration will begin at 11am, with a massing of the colors and the 11th-hour ceremony in front of City Hall. After the ceremony, the parade will start at Reunion Arena and proceed down the streets of Downtown Dallas.

Veterans Day Workout & Social

Head to Klyde Warren Park on Veterans Day for a free Hero workout, hosted by Adaptive Training Foundation! Participants can sign up with sign up with Carry the Load to honor a veteran and wear their name during the workout! After the workout, enjoy a social hour with local groups like Patriot Paws, an organization that helps train service dogs for those who have served!

Tarrant County Veterans Day Parade

Join Fort Worth in celebrating local heroes! The parade starts at Panther Island Pavilion and will go along Clear Fork then back to Panther Island. Texas Christian University's military involvement will be honored too, along with TCU alum and Medal of Honor recipient Maj. Horace S. Carswell, Jr.

Founded by a veteran and Purple Heart recipient, this golf apparel store gives discounts to veterans year-round! In addition to their year-round PXG For Heroes program, they're offering an additional discount! Until November 15th, heroes can take advantage of an even deeper discount, enjoying 40% off on apparel and accessories.

Rakkasan Tea Company

This veteran-owned tea spot is one worth supporting! The name Rakkasan came from co-founders Brandon Friedman and Terrence Kamauf, and was the nickname of their unit in the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division. They often drank tea provided by locals overseas, and decided to open this tea shop to highlight and support post-combat economies. Check them out for ethically sourced teas from all over the world!

All Shell Shack locations are buying veterans lunch!  From 11am to 4pm this Friday, any active or retired military are offered a free shrimp basket when dining at any Shell Shack location. Not available for to go and delivery.
