YIA YIA’S HOUSE OF GYROS

A family-owned establishment, the Kaprantzases’s opened Yia Yia’s in 2014 to bring more Greek options to the area. And in doing so, created the sweetest, and funniest (don’t miss all the signs that play ode to Greek culture & My Big Fat Greek Wedding), establishment that transports you to a picturesque blue-and-white tavern in a small Greek village.

THE MENU

Their traditional Greek menu stems from family recipes, you’ll find a photo of grandmother on the wall! Some standouts include:

• Dolmades

• Skordalia (garlic dip)

• The signature gyro warp with fries

• Pastitsio (Greek lasagna)

• Lamb Souvlaki plate

COMPLIMENTARY DESSERT

There are a lot of dessert options to choose from, but one you don’t have to think twice about: the Loukoumades (Greek donut balls covered in honey syrup) as they’re included with your meal complimentary!
