When we think of a drive-in, we think of the movie Grease. That was our first introduction way back when to the concept that had become outdated and overshadowed by movie theaters. And while some still hung around for nostalgic entertainment, they’re now making a full on comeback in a few spots across DFW!

Coyote is a new-age drive in founded in 2011 in Fort Worth, where you can watch a movie with the skyline in the background! With a variety of movies ranging from PG to R ratings, this is a fun spot for both children and adults. Outside food and beverage is not permitted, but the concession stand offers a large menu, including beer and wine! They'll even deliver online food and drink orders to your car, so you don't miss the movie!

Movies play nightly starting around 7:30pm, but we recommend arriving early as gates open at 6pm. Find specific details on their website, and purchase tickets in advance.

Located in Granbury, this is the only on the list, and one of the few left in the entire state, that is an original drive-in. It’s been in operation since 1952, and was purchased in the 80’s by a woman who wanted to simply preserve its history, she is still doing that today. This historic spot has been a favorite every summer since!

Movies play Thursday-Saturday at 8:50 pm. We also recommend arriving early - gates open at 7:45 & people line up EARLY. Concessions are available. They will be closed November 30th through March 5th 2023, so check their website for details!
