If you look hard enough, the Big D flaunts a vast selection of vintage finds. There’s a certain retro vibe to the Southwest in general, and we love hunting for pieces for a themed party, or to pair with a new outfit, or to be more sustainable. Whatever the reasoning, put your thrifting pants on and dive into these hot spots with vintage selections.

Dolly Python

Dolly Python is one of a few shops in Dallas that’s rotating selection is dictated by a diverse sampling of local vendors. In the front of the store, you’ll see their own selection of furs, jeans, costume jewelry, decades of clothing and cowboy boots. Head to the other part, and find booths by different vendors, that all look like a page out of “I Spy.” And now there’s a Bishop Arts outpost too that focuses more on furniture and decor!

Flea Style

Originating as a posh pop-up haven, Flea Style’s Brittany Cobb realized there was a real demand for stylish women’s decor and clothing in Dallas. This Deep Ellum sweet spot is covered with hand selected goods from many of the female vendors that Flea Style has been working with for years. The light and airy feel of the store flows through to the vintage section tucked towards the back.

Rare Heart Vintage

Rare Heart Vintage is the brainchild of Katie Randle, who we slowly came to know over the years from interacting with her as a sales associate at Favor the Kind. Her style, and her ability to pair vintage pieces together, couldn't go unnoticed, so it wasn't any surprise when we learned she opened her own brick-and-mortar shop in Bishop Arts for a full fledged store with cool, hipster vintage clothing and accessories for both men and women.
