Is this the most beautiful bookstore in Dallas? Meet Bird's Bookstore, the city’s newest indie gem from husband-and-wife duo Drew and Emily Dawson. After dreaming of opening a bookstore since their UT Austin days, they finally brought it to life, and it might be one of the prettiest shops in the city!

BIRD'S BOOKSTORE
Designed by MMaison Interiors with Scandinavian, Japanese, and mid-century modern touches, Bird’s feels more like stepping into a curated home library than a shop. It has sleek wood interiors, cozy corners, rows of shelves (even a little latter!), and a polished but inviting atmosphere!

COFFEE, PASTRIES, AND BEYOND
Beyond the books, you’ll find a small cafè in the back serving coffee from Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters and pastries from Bresnan Bread and Pastry in McKinney and GF options from Unrefined Bakery! They also stock design-forward magazines, stationery, and even ceramics from local artist Marcello Andres.
WHAT KIND OF READS YOU’LL FIND
With 6,000 titles across adult, YA, and children’s books, plus curated design and coffee table books, Bird’s has something for every reader. They’re also keeping up with the latest “BookTok” trends and celebrity book club picks, so expect to see the buzziest new reads alongside timeless classics!
