You all agree! Uchi and its upstairs sister restaurant, Uchiba truly do serve up some of the best brussels we have ever had. The Baker Mama describes them as “crispy green crack” and even tries to replicate the recipe with her own, that calls for soy sauce, maple syrup and sriracha! Uchi’s menu doesn’t delve into the details as much, keep an elusive lid on their secret recipe but do name “lemon and chili” as two ingredients!
This 1950’s glamorous steakhouse of a restaurant is a stunning spot for a romantic evening. Just don’t forget to order the brussel sprouts - you all RAVE them! We have yet to try but certainly will next time we pay a visit to this Design District restaurant. They are fried with a honey mustard glaze and sound to-die-for!
Because food taste better with wine and apparently so do Brussels sprouts! “Creating a new way to undwind,” Sixty Vines has done a fantastic job of creating an atmosphere that is inspired by wine country! Their cuisines change seasonally and are dependent upon local farmers. Their Brussels sprouts are oven roasted with kung pao vinaigrette, scallions and cashews! YUMMM, that sounds amazing.
You can order a plate with Yuzu Caper Salmon, Black Garlic Beef Tataki or Teriyaki Chicken, and each of them come with the brussels as part of the meal! You can also ask for them as an appetizer, and they come tossed in a creamy lemon miso sauce themselves! According to you all, they are amazing!
HG Sply, everybody’s favorite spot in Lower Greenville! HG throws a fun twist on Brussels sprouts with their shaved Brussels sprouts salad that you guys say is to die for. The salad contains, well of course, Brussels sprouts, along with smoked almond and dried cherries, and topped with sabine creek TX honey mustard vinaigrette!
This Bishop Arts restaurant is one you can always count on for a fantastic and modern American meal! On their menu, expect to see a little of everything, from fish to dumplings to some of the chefs favorite comfort foods growing up like the amazing meatloaf, and, of course, Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts are caramelized and come tossed with scallions, cilantro, and sweet chili - they are heaven!
Located in Lower Greenville, Sundown at Granada is a great farm-to-table restaurant, located right beside the historic Granda Theatre. From vegetarian to vegan as well as gluten free options, they have something for everyone, including the Brussels sprouts! They are crisped and tossed in with roasted butternut squash, applewood bacon dressing, Deep Ellum bleu cheese, walnuts and topped with a balsamic drizzle!
Located on Henderson, The Porch has so many good items on their menu from the Pimento Cheese appetizer to the Mac n cheese which also made a “Best Of” list to their Short Rib Stroganoff. And the Brussels sprouts are another reason to keep coming back! Why? Because they are cooked with parmesan, bacon and lemon! Does that not make you salivate?!
