The Whippersnapper has officially passed the torch, and its former Henderson space is reopening as Boogie's, a cocktail lounge-meets-disco where the vibe flips at 10pm from moody cocktails to a full-on dance floor.

BOOGIE'S DALLAS
Boogie’s comes from This And That Hospitality, the team behind neighborhood staples like Double D's and High Fives, in partnership with creative lead Jake Gatewood. With music direction by Dallas DJ Codie Binion (aka CBSMOOVE), they’ve created a space that blends hospitality with the coolest house music culture. There’s a cocktail bar up front, and when the clock hits 10, it completely transforms into an inclusive, high-energy dance floor!
THE SPACE
Boogie’s has taken over the former Whippersnapper space, and wow, has it gotten a makeover! Walking into Boogie’s feels like stepping back in time – to an old-school disco club where you can easily lose track of time! Walk past the red curtain to stop at the adorable photo booth, and then further in, you’ll find a swanky bar, cozy booths, and subtle nods to house music legends like Frankie Knuckles.
The dancefloor is the true star of the show, with a retro tiled floor and a MASSIVE disco ball equipped with a full light show! 🪩🕺
THE VIBE
From 5pm to 10pm, it’s all low-lit cocktails and vinyl playlists, with a more low-key vibe. After 10pm, the volume turns up, DJs take over, and house, deep house, and disco fuel the dance floor. You can expect tunes from some of the best local talent Jake Gatewood, House of Frequencies, and more! It’s truly the perfect spot for a fun night out, especially for groups!
Pro tip: After close, head to Plomo Quesadillas for a late-night snack!
COCKTAILS TO SIP ON THE DANCE FLOOR
