CHARM JUK
Juk is a staple in Korean cuisine, made from nutrient-rice rice germ, It’s healthy, comforting, easy to digest, which means it’s typically served when you’re sick, or to babies or the elderly.

Charm Juk gets creative, offering almost two dozen varieties of Juk including:
🍤 Seafood: shrimp, oyster, scallop, crab, octopus, tuna or abalone
🍗 Meat: chicken, beef or Tendon
🥬 Or a veggie option!
“SWEET AND NUTTY”
Charm Juk also offers four “sweet and nutty” variations with a slightly gelatinous texture: pumpkin, red bean, pine nut, and mung bean.
PS If porridge isn’t what you’re craving, they also serve sizzling hot pot rice with fish roe, shrimp, and seafood, along with bento boxes featuring bulgogi or chicken.

We had never tried juk before but quickly understood why people love it. The portions are generous, the flavors are rich, and every bite feels like a warm hug. If you’re feeling adventurous, the abalone juk is a favorite and worth a try.
