Diagon Alley is real and coming to us muggles starting tonight and up until November 1st, thanks to a husband-wife duo whose love for Harry Potter transcends to an incredibly intricate life-size alley… and we have all the details!

DIAGON ALLEY IN DALLAS
Now in its 7th year, a home off of Swiss Ave in Old East Dallas is once again transforming its backyard into Diagon Alley! Each year, the setup becomes more and more detailed, with buildings like Gringotts Bank and Olivander’s built out in 3D wood frames. Everything is made by hand by the husband and wife, and having been both last year and this year, it is extremely impressive!

DETAILS IN EVERY CORNER
There’s memorabilia, trinkets, and toys all hidden within the various shops. Every kid that comes through gets a mini wand from Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes, one gold coin from Gringotts, and a candy from Honeydukes! See a dementor fly above you, along with Hedwig delivering a letter to Harry, a fire-breathing dragon is guarding the bank, and more!
HOW TO VISIT
Head to the corner of Bryan Parkway and Beacon St, down from Swiss (5948 Bryan Pkwy 75206). There’s an opening right on the street that opens right into Diagon Alley (the home’s backyard). The pop-up will be open tonight, on Halloween, and on the 1st, starting at around 6:30pm.
P.S. Keep in mind that around 2,000 people attend on Halloween night, so plan to visit before or after if you want photo ops or want to avoid the crowds!
DONATIONS!
It’s completely free to visit, but they are collecting donations for the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center. Feel free to bring new, unused board games, fuzzy blankets, and unwrapped gifts to help restore joy to children this holiday season! Donations can be dropped off at the Leaky Cauldron!
