Being outside and enjoying some good grub and drinks is a weekly activity for Dallasites, and of course, it's always better if our dogs can join the party! Luckily, there are far fewer places that aren't dog-friendly than are in Dallas, but here are some of the best for your furry friends!

CHELSEA CORNER
You know that Chelsea Corner is a prime spot to cheer on your favorite sports games on one of their 21 screens, but have you been on their 2,500 square foot pup-friendly patio? Their lush, green Beer Garden hosts cozy couches, high tables, picnic tables and shady umbrellas to stay cool with your pooch! So call all your fellow dog parents for your next brunch spot!

Cane Rosso
This beloved pizza spot has a love for dogs, and goes above and beyond welcoming them on any of their locations' patios. They love dogs so much they own Cane Rosso Rescue, a nonprofit organization whose goal is to raise funds, build awareness for homeless pups in Texas, and ultimately find their furever homes! Stop by for a slice of pie with your pup!

Henry's Majestic
A go-to of ours for brunch, happy hour, and live music, Henry's Majestic boasts a massive patio that's perfect for pups! In fact, they even offer a menu of "pup-tails" aka fun drinks that are safe for dogs. The patio is open year-round, with fire pits for the colder months and misters when it’s hot!

HG SPLY CO
Treat your four-legged bff to a date they’ll never forget with patio hangs at a local favorite. If you’re going to the Lower Greenville location you and your pup can enjoy a rooftop patio and the option of shaded seating with cooling fans. The staff at HG Sply Co. will also serve water to dogs, as well. Don’t forget to snap a pic with the skyline views!

KATY TRAIL ICE HOUSE
Probably the most iconic dog-friendly patio in Dallas, this is like a backyard party for your pooch to socialize with other dogs. Whether it's summer or winter, their patios are primed to host its guests comfortably, furry friends included! Water bowls will be served and the large, shady trees provide perfect coverage from the Texas sun. Best part? You can walk your dog there, along the Katy Trail!

LA LA LAND KIND CAFE
When you think of the adorably branded La La Land Cafe, you might immediately think of coffee and an Instagrammable environment. If La La Land isn’t already one of your favorite spots, we’re sure it will be when you hear they are actually dog-friendly with their patio + their own mini dog park area for you and your pup to hang and make new friends! That’s right, they actually have an enclosed area to leave your dog while you enjoy your coffee and avo toast!

LAZY DOG
You can’t have dog in your name and not be dog friendly!! Lazy Dog’s patios, located in the suburbs of Dallas, are made for two-legged and four-legged friends alike, and they have the dog statue to prove it! Sit around their large, group fire pit on chillier nights or pull up a chair with friends at the bar or a table without having to leave your pup at home. And what’s more is that Lazy Dog offers a dog menu including 2 savory dog bowls; chicken or beef with brown rice and veggies!

MUTTS CANINE CANTINA
Mutt’s Canine Cantina provides an off-leash dog park + beer garden that offers the perfect place to spend an afternoon with your pup! Mutt’s also has pawty packages for your dog’s birthday, plus fun dog-friendly events over the course of the year like yoga and Mutts Movie Nights! There are some rules: dogs must be 4+ months, spayed/neutered, friendly and sociable around people, among other requirements!

THE RANCH AT LAS COLINAS
With adoption and rescue charity events, it’s no secret that The Ranch at Las Colinas is pet-friendly! They have an expansive patio area that feels like your own down South backyard and even a special menu for your pups. The menu consists of 4 different pooch pilates or 2 different homemade doggie treats!

THE SHACKS AT AUSTIN RANCH
At The Shacks, six diverse restaurant choices all share one large, dog-friendly patio and overlooks a sweeping 1-acre dog park. There’s something for everyone with Ten Ramen, Turbo Coffee, Grrrowlers, Dirty Burger, Tackle Box and OMG Tacos as your dining options. Your furry friends can make other furry friends while you toast drinks with new dog parent pals!

Known for its massive patio and live music, The Rustic is a perfect spot to take your dog in the fall! Grab a table under the string lights or a cozy lawn chair under the trees for a casual outing with Texas-inspired eats, cold drinks, and great vibes. Dogs clearly deserve a treat for putting up with us! You may already know that State & Allen’s aesthetic patio is dog-friendly, but did you know that they have special treats for your furry friends? Next time you find yourself enjoying their dishes or sipping a cocktail on their patio with your pup, ask your server for a complimentary dog treat made in-house!

A trip to Tequila Social after a walk on the Katy Trail is every dog's dream! This Texas-themed patio features a ton of space, with misters and umbrellas for shade in the warmer months. Sip margs and enjoy a Tex-Mex menu of tacos, nachos, and more while you soak up the sun! They also have TVs with sports playing year-round, and live music on the weekends -- the perfect day out with your four-legged friend!

Truck Yard
This junkyard-inspired patio is a playground for adults, and their pets too! All three of Truck Yard's locations are kid and dog-friendly, so bring the whole fam along for no-frills American eats like burgers, hog dogs, and of course, their famous cheesesteaks. With funky artwork and room to roam, this spot is sure to keep man's best friend entertained.

White Rhino Coffee
This beloved coffee shop is a go-to for remote working, friend hangs, and morning pick-me-ups! Grab a seat on their patio with your pup and soak up the sun while you sip on delicious drinks like a Snickerdoodle Latte, Iced Matcha, and more. They also have a full brunch menu! Our favorite location to bring our dogs to is the Uptown one -- so you can stop by the adorable pet store Uptown Pup too, located right next door.
