Pro tip: We highly recommend calling in advance or checking with each farm's website/social media pages on when their picking season is starting and what days they’re open to the public!

ALFORD FAMILY FARM
Strawberry picking season kicks things off at Alford Family Farm in April, available to pick and take home at $4 per pound. They also offer blackberry and blueberry picking in early June and grape picking in August! Plus, check out their country store with fresh jellies, jams, ice cream, honey, and more fresh produce.

BLACKLAND BERRY FARM
Head to this family-run farm to pick your own blueberries and blackberries from late May to August! They also offer delicious shaved ice, with all-natural flavors made from real fruit -- the perfect way to cool off during the hot summer months.

Blase opens mid-May through July for organic blueberries picking! Plus, Jill Blase, the owner, sells blueberry popsicles from scratch that you MUST try when you’re there!

BLUEBERRY HILL FARMS
Fill your bucket with blueberries and blackberries starting Memorial Day weekend through July! This family-owned farm has been around for decades, and even has a country store with honey and more delicious farm goods!

Strawberry picking is offered on select days during April and May! They also offer tons of other produce like yellow and zucchini squash, carrots, and more at their product stand. Plus, you can shop find additional vendors on some Saturdays!

GREER FARM
Make a day trip out to Daingerfield to pick blueberries, blackberries, figs, and plums, hoping to start the picking season June 1st. Plus, the farm offers meats, jeans and sauces, honey, eggs and more! They also offer cabin rentals during the summer months.

PECAN CREEK STRAWBERRY FARM
This beautiful farm opens early April for strawberry season! They're open Open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, at 10am, get there early to fill up your buckets. Plus, shop for strawberry ice cream, jam and maybe your own strawberry hanging basket!
