Pro tip: We highly recommend calling in advance or checking with each farm's website/social media pages on when their picking season is starting and what days they’re open to the public!

ALFORD FAMILY FARM
Strawberry picking season kicks things off at Alford Family Farm in April, with berries available to pick and take home for around $4 per pound. They also offer blueberry and blackberry picking in early June and muscadine grape picking in August. Don’t miss their country store featuring fresh jellies, jams, honey, ice cream, and seasonal produce.

BLACKLAND BERRY FARM
Head to this family-run farm to pick your own blueberries and blackberries from late May through mid-July, then cool off with their all-natural shaved ice made from real fruit, the perfect summer treat! Be sure to check their social media for weekly hours and availability before visiting.

BLASE FAMILY FARM
Blase Family Farm typically opens late May through early July for pick-your-own blueberries, grown without pesticides or herbicides. Guests can also enjoy homemade blueberry popsicles, fresh-baked treats, and other seasonal goodies perfect for a sweet summer outing!

BLUEBERRY HILL FARMS
Fill your bucket with fresh blueberries and blackberries starting Memorial Day weekend through July! This long-running, family-owned farm offers a classic U-pick experience, plus a country store stocked with homemade pies, preserves, honey, and other farm-fresh treats!

DEMASES FARM
Strawberry picking is offered on select days during April and May, be sure to check their social pages for exact dates! They also offer a wide variety of fresh produce like zucchini, yellow squash, carrots, and more at their farm stand, along with local goods such as eggs, milk, and homemade treats. Plus, you may find additional vendors on select Saturdays!

GREER FARM
Make a day trip out to Daingerfield to pick blueberries and blackberries (berry season typically June through mid‑August, with blueberries usually early June through mid‑August and blackberries late May through mid‑July). They sell farm‑fresh meats, including grass‑fed beef, lamb, pasture‑raised pork and chicken, free‑range eggs, honey, jams, sauces and other farm goods. The farm also offers lakeside cabin rentals and a farm‑stay experience, plus hiking trails and fishing on the property. Pick your own blackberries!... PECAN CREEK STRAWBERRY FARM
This beautiful seasonal farm in Pilot Point, TX offers pick‑your‑own strawberries, strawberry ice cream, jam, and strawberry hanging baskets! They typically open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 10 AM, and go until they sell out for the day, so arriving early is recommended!
