Let’s give a warm welcome to Second Rodeo Brewing which just opened in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards! From the team behind the great backyard patio Truck Yard in Dallas, they’ve created a similar space in Mule Alley, perfect for a casual time with live music, big beers and Texas vibes!

ABOUT

This ‘ain’t their first rodeo’...Second Rodeo Brewing is the brainchild from the Truck Yard team which has mastered the junkyard meets Texas patio hang. It’s the perfect hangout for a good ol’ Texan time, plus it’s kid and pet friendly. Find it in the new Mule Alley, development that starts at the Stockyards and ends at the new Drover Hotel!

THE SPACE

Located in a 15,000 sq ft two-story brick building, the atmosphere provides a rustic warehouse feel with an open patio and a retractable roof! There is a stage and a small dance floor along with some outdoor games, a giant swing and a fireplace! Pick your seating of choice from truck beds to lawn chairs to colorful adirondacks...that signature eclectic junk yard chic look of Truck Yard’s!

PS Don’t miss the neon Big Tex-esque sign on the outside patio, and for the football lovers, there’s tons of TVs upstairs!

FOOD + DRINKS

They have a slate of beers on the menu, including sours from their Colony brewery, Beard Science. Or try a frozen cocktail like the Trash Can Punch, or order a cocktail and keep the flask! Negroni, manhattan, espresso martini...they’re all sold in cute flasks that you can take home!

For food, Truck Yard is well known for having one of the best cheesesteaks around, but Second Rodeo is also introducing a new fan fave...wings! There’s 11 types, try the Texas Cherry Cola with a cherry cola glaze and pop rocks, or the PB&J with peanut butter, bacon and jalapeno or Mandrina with Mexican orange fanta glazed with Tajin seasoning.

ENTERTAINMENT

Live music AROUND THE CLOCK! They have three sets daily playing Outlaw Country, Western Swing and Texas Blues!
