Craving different flavors? Get a taste of Cuba at the Cuban-owned Havana Cafe and Mojito Bar gem in the White Rock Lake area!
Updated July 2021
The Havana Cafe & Mojito Bar is a Cuban-owned restaurant in Casa Linda! This relaxed restaurant serves up traditional Cuban fare with a full mojito bar and really fun Friday nights filled with music and dancing! The owner cares deeply about his offerings, making sure every product is accurate to how it would be in Cuba, including how it’s cooked!
Famous Cuban Sandwhich
Havana Cafe’s ‘Famous Cuban’ sandwich is not to be missed! It's one of the best Cuban sandwiches in Dallas, for sure. We also tried the Rope Vieja plate, a signature Cuban dish, that was full of flavor and comes with a side of plátanos. We would go back just to order a full dish of the plátanos — they were delicious!
More Food
Beyond the Cuban, you’ll find an extensive menu of offerings… pork, seafood, chicken, beef (including Ropa Vieja), and more. We also tried the Havana Mix Ceviche de Campo and a cortadito coffee drink, but the Tour of Cuba appetizer plate looked appealing to get a wide variety of traditional bites. Finish with Cuban Flan, Rum Cake, Tres Leches or other desserts!
Mojito Bar
Attached to Havana Cafe is their Mojito Bar, which features 10 craft cocktails with Cuban rum. Try the Texas Mojito and get a 23 oz. (Texas-sized) fresh mojito! The bar also has other traditional Cuban cocktails like the Cuba Libre.
Friday Nights
If you’re looking for great vibes, live music, karaoke and dancing, The Mojito Bar is where you want to be on Friday nights! The Cafe Con Leche Quartet performs traditional Cuban music, and people dance all around!
