A peaceful oasis hidden in East Dallas, Kalachandji’s has been nourishing Dallasites for over 32 years and we recently went by to remind ourselves of just how special this temple and restaurant are.

Step inside the Radha Kalachandji temple grounds (it may feel like you’re trespassing but you’re not) and walk down a hall until you arrive at the cafeteria-style restaurant. Grab a plate and begin filling it up with all sorts of colorful vegetarian (and mostly vegan) dishes.

THE TEMPLE
On your way out, take a peek inside the Radna Kalachandji temple. It is absolutely stunning, and there are daily deity viewings and worship from 4:30 am until 8 pm. You can also request a tour of the temple online.
