Nuno's Tacos has been serving up 100% plant-based Mexican comfort food since 2019, and we’re kicking ourselves for not trying it sooner! From enchiladas to aguas frescas to fishless tacos and even margs to-go, it’s one of the most fun and flavorful vegan menus we’ve tried in Dallas!

Nuno’s Tacos & Vegmex Grill

Founder Aurelio “Nuno” Arias Jr. helped launch El Palote, one of the first fully vegan Mexican restaurants in Dallas, alongside his family. After co-founding the concept, he branched out to start his own venture in a new part of the city, with the goal of offering vegan comfort food to everyone– not just vegans. His mission is to create food that even meat-eaters will love and help introduce healthier options to Latino communities in North Dallas!

A VEGAN MENU YOU’LL ACTUALLY CRAVE

Everything at Nuno’s is made in-house, from the protein to the cheese, with real ingredients and no shortcuts. Their scratch-made approach means fewer chemicals and more flavor, plus gluten-free and soy-free options too!

 

WHAT WE TRIED

Our faves? The Street Taco Platter and the Krunchwrap filled with hibiscus flower barbacoa (flowers grown in Oaxaca!). But trust us, everything was SO good. Here’s what else we loved:

🌮 Bandera Enchiladas with housemade crema & jalapeño sauce

🥪 BBQ sandwich with mac and cheese & potato salad

🐟 Fishless tacos + tater tots

🥞 Pancake platter with vegan sausage & tofu scramble

🥭 Margs in mango, strawberry, and blue raspberry

🌺 Aguas frescas made with non-refined Mexican sugar

 

TAKEOUT ONLY

Nuno’s is a takeout-only spot, so be sure to order online before heading over! There are a few outdoor tables if you want to dine there, but everything also packs perfectly for a cozy night in!
