From savory bites like flatbreads and paratha rolls to Middle Eastern desserts like Turkish delights and knafeh, Karak Tea Dallas is delicious yet super affordable! It opened earlier this year and we finally got to experience it ourselves!

KARAK TEA

Nestled in the heart of Plano, Karak Tea Bakery & Cafe is a hidden gem with delicious food at incredibly affordable prices! Founded by Jordanian native Tariq Alkafaween, Karak Tea was born from his experiences living in Jordan, Qatar, and Dubai.

He says it’s very common to see cafes like this in Dubai and Qatar where you can quickly come in to grab tea and high-quality snacks at affordable prices, so he wanted to bring that to Dallas!

THE MENU

Karak Tea’s menu is super diverse, with offerings ranging from sweet treats like baklava and cheesy knafeh to savory bites like paratha rolls and 20+ flatbread variations! Our favorite was za’atar but there are other unique flavors like halal pepperoni, tikka masala, kefta, and gyro!

And you can’t leave without trying their teas and juices, including the saffron-infused Karak tea and the pretty Kashmiri pink tea! Plus, you can also find freshly squeezed juices like sugarcane, mango, orange & lemon ginger mint, just to name a few!
