Khao Korm Thai
If you were a fan of Ari Thai District, Khao Horm took over the contemporary and airy fast-casual space earlier this year. Khao Horm maintains the modern atmosphere, while bringing a really creative menu of dishes that the owner and her family, Sone, developed herself, like White Pad Thai!
WHAT TO ORDER
You’ll enjoy a mix of Thai and Laotian dishes with some standouts including:
• Lao Eggrolls: homemade spring rolls Laos style with chicken and sweet sauce
• White Pad Thai: pepper, cilantro and herbs make up this more subtle but spicier version of everyone’s favorite Thai dish (this one is for the pepper lovers)
• Khao Soi: a decadent and flavorful Northern Thai bright yellow noodle dish, that can be rarer to find at Thai restaurants around town
• Ka Pao Kai: stir fry ground chicken and basil, served on top with fried egg, reminiscent of street food you’d find in Bangkok (our personal favorite)
DRINKS & DESSERT
Pair your meal with Thai tea or lychee tea, and if they have it on special, make sure to order the Pandan juice! End your meal with homemade coconut ice cream or mango sticky rice!
