NGON VIETNAMESE KITCHEN
Born in Vietnam, owner Carol Nguyen was inspired by her family’s entrepreneurial spirit with her cousin owning a restaurant in Vietnam and her aunt a Cajun eatery in New Orleans. Since opening Ngon in 2020, Ngon has quickly become a neighborhood fave, garnering accolades and claiming local “best of” titles! Plus, it fills a gap in Dallas propers dining scene by offering insanely delicious and authentic Vietnamese cuisine!
P.S. Its name is a nod to her mother, Ngôn, her inspiration and hero, but it also means “delicious” in Vietnamese, and it is exactly that!!
THE MENU
Many of the recipes at Ngon have been passed down from Carol’s grandmother, who taught her how to cook when she was young. The menu is rooted in her love for home cooking and inspired by street vendors in Vietnam with vibrant dishes that are both familiar and unique! From traditional pho and spring rolls to lesser-known regional dishes like Bun Cha Hanoi, everything is out of this world!! Our fave was the mango salad that you cannot miss!!

Ngon is open every day of the week, from 12pm to 9pm Sunday through Thursday and until 10pm on Saturday through Sunday! Plus, they have happy hour from 3pm to 6pm Monday through Friday with food and drink specials!
