About: A food truck that relocated from Austin and set up shop at Tom’s Daiquiri’s, serving TWU students and beyond. While they've been open for a little while, the Grand Opening celebration is on September 12

Cuisine: Plant-based burgers and wings + shakes and fries

The 101: A great spot for students, Plow is open until 2 am Thursday through Saturday

About: A new late-night neighborhood spot with traditional bar games and plenty of TVs to catch a game

Cuisine: In addition to craft beer and cocktails they have and a full menu (think stone fire pizza, salads, sandwiches, and more)

The 101: Not only can you drink late, but it's also a great spot for late-night eats as the kitchen doesn't close until 2 am!

Neighborhood: White Rock Lake

Opened: August 2021

About: Originally a ghost kitchen, Thunderbird Pies began as the pandemic project of Jay Jerrier (who started Cane Rosso and Zoli’s) and now has its own permanent home

Cuisine: Detroit-style pizza (think thick, cheesy crust)

About: Unlike its location in Bishop Arts, this East Dallas spot gives off authentic taqueria vibes - nothing flashy, just really good tacos

Neighborhood: Old East Dallas

About: A passion project of chef Ross Demers, Cry Wolf is expected to be a unique spot that serves seasonal dishes and specialty cocktails

Cuisine: The menu will be relatively small and is rumored to have influences from both France and California

About: From chef Alban Besiri who has run the kitchen at noteworthy restaurants across the US. Diners will be able to enjoy scratch pasta, fresh pizza, and meats and cheeses for the table.
