SHANGHAI TASTE
Xiao long bao, also known as soup dumplings, are a famous steamed Chinese delicacy that originated in Shanghai in the 19th century. They are steamed to perfection and full of flavor, with your choice of veggie or protein. You can watch hundreds of these soup dumplings being hand-folded daily, right in front of your eyes, through a glass wall looking into the kitchen.
KEEPING TRADITION ALIVE
Owner, Jimmy Li, is a James Beard-nominated chef, known for his signature Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings), who opened Shanghai Taste’s first location in Las Vegas’ Chinatown.
According to a Dallas News article, Li “spent his early years in Shanghai watching his parents make xiao long bao in their kitchen…and many of the cooking methods he employs come from longstanding culinary customs he feels responsible for preserving and continuing”.
INTIMATE DINING EXPERIENCE
The space is intimate, seating only about 50, so you feel as if you are dining with everyone else in the building, experiencing a mix of cultures over amazing food. Everything comes out to your table as it is ready so you are constantly getting new dishes brought out!

DETAILS & LOCATION
Open first-come, first-served Monday through Thursday from 8am to 3pm, then 4:30pm to 8pm. On weekends, they’re open from 11am to 9pm!
