In true Fort Worth style, Sidesaddle Saloon is a shot-gun style bar with cowgirl-themed decor, bold boozy sips and tasty tapas. It sits next to other cool new spots like Second Rodeo, Paloma Suerte and the Drover Hotel, in Mule Alley, so get your giddy up on for a Fort Worth day trip!

Updated March 2022

Sidesaddle Saloon opened in 2021 as the latest concept from the minds behind Taco Heads + Tinie’s Mexican Rotisserie. Their inspiration is the modern day cowgirl, wanting to bring a female-forward concept to the Stockyards focused on cowgal lifestyle!

ATMOSPHERE

Side Saddle can be found down a brick lined side alley off of Mule Alley in the Stockyards. A cute patio calls you in and you’ll immediately met with an instagrammable saloon! An old time wood bar, piano, American flag, taxidermy and other Western items pair with white walls, velvet chairs and neon signs to bring in a modern atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot for a drink and apps while you wander the area or before you grab dinner at the new Paloma Suerte next door!

MENU

After famous cowgirls, like the Belle Star, with vodka, mint, strawberry aloe syrup, lemon and Peychaud’s and the Madame Mustache, with vodka, black coffee liqueur, cold brew, chocolate and egg whites!

Their Texas-style tapas are an elevated take on typical bar food and the menu also highlights a smoke brisket flatbread, beef sliders, bacon cheddar chive biscuits & more.

SPECIALS

Stop by Side Saddle Saloon daily beginning in the afternoon through 12/1am depending on the day. And happy hour runs from 3-6pm every weekday and all day Sundays with $2.50 domestics, $4 wells and $7 classic cocktails!

We love that Fort Worth is getting a plethora of new places…expect more posts highlighting others coming soon too! We’ve never spent so much time in Fort Worth as we are doing so this year and we aren’t mad about it! It’s such a fun 45 minute escape from Dallas for a bit of traditional Texas fun!
