Serving customizable, all natural kava and elixir beverages, Kava Culture in Denton is the first kava bar to open in DFW! The menu is inspired by kava, which is a beverage from the South Pacific that’s used as a natural alternative to alcohol!

Kava Culture

The idea started in SW Florida and made its way to Texas. So what is kava exactly? Ultimately, it is a root that provides a natural sense of calmness and relaxation without affecting cognitive or motor skills. And an Elixir is an immune-boosting tea leaf from Southeast Asia that can deliver feelings of happiness, euphoria, and energy! The goal at Kava Culture is to uplift your mood, relieve stress, and deliver a vibrant sense of well-being naturally!

The variety of kava, botanical teas, cocktails, and taps allows you to choose your desired feeling: joy, relax, energy, stamina, or social. Enjoy your favorite sips and assorted sweet treats in-house or take them to go. Our favorite part? First timers are introduced with their Kavatender, a.k.a. sipping a small, complimentary serving of kava to celebrate paths crossing and joining the Kava Tribe of locals!

The Environment

Kava Culture is ideal for studying, socializing, working, or relaxing and is ultimately a community event space, too! Any seat in the house is a good one, but we love to cozy up in their eye catching, hanging swing chairs. It’s very much a laid back hang! The space transforms nightly to host live music, open mic nights, trivia, bingo, and more! Your furry friends can even join in! 

Stop by between 8 AM and 12 AM on weekdays or 8 AM - 2 AM on weekends and join the tribe!
