DALLAS MUSEUM OF ART

Dallas Museum of Art DMA


Join the Dallas Museum of Art for Summer Art Camp! The DMA has exciting themes and events for campers from ages 4 to 15 to discover and explore their inner artist. Campers will dive into the art of doodling and drawing, story-making, sculpture-building, abstract painting, and so much more! Sessions are offered June through July, available in morning or afternoon slots. Different themes are offered each week, so check their website for more details!

FRONTIERS OF FLIGHT MUSEUM

Weeklong summer camps at Frontier of Flight Museum feature educational tours, games, creative projects, investigations, and more, for kids entering 1st through 10th grade. They host aviation and space-themed camps, so kids can choose to explore one or both! Sessions run Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm in June and July. They even have a virtual option for camp!

GIRLS INC.

Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas offers camps designed to empower girls going into 1st through 8th grade! Camps are available in South Dallas and near Love Field, in two sessions Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm. Kids participate in a variety of activities with themes like STEM, entrepreneurship, health and well-being, leadership, and more! Their fees are on a sliding, income-based scale, helping to make it affordable to everyone!

JCC DALLAS

Between their eight camp programs, campers at the Jewish Community Center will be able to find the summer experience that's perfect for them! They offer a variety of camp themes, like tennis, theater, gymnastics, and even a travel camp. They're perfect for campers of all ages, from preschool to high school. Sessions are available from early June to August!

PEROT MUSEUM

Perot Museum


Gear up for a summer of adventure and fun with eight different science-themed camps to choose from at the Perot Museum! With weeks like Culinary Chemistry and Cosmic Curiosities, there's a topic for every young science explorer! Campers from kindergarten through 4th will also have the opportunity to experience the Museum’s exhibit halls and Perot's latest exhibition, The Science Behind Pixar! Sessions are one week long and are available from June through August

RIVER LEGACY LIVING SCIENCE CENTER

Here, your Pre-K through 8th grade kids can connect with nature in a way that's both fun and educational! Each of the interactive camps offers lessons about wildlife, ecology, and the environment in the great state of Texas.

SPANISH WORLD SCHOOL

Spanish World School is an elementary school that offers week-long on-campus summer camps for a Spanish immersion environment! The camps are for 1st through 5th graders and include art, sports, academic activities, and more!

The Craft Guild is a non-profit dedicated to instructing arts and crafts! They offer classes for drawing and painting, bookbinding, metal smithing, glass making, pottery, and more! They also offer smaller classes for age groups 5-7, 8-12, 13-18-year-olds, and large group classes for 8-18-year-olds

THE DALLAS ARBORETUM

The Dallas Arboretum camps are designed for students entering grades 1st through 6th. All weeks are themed and created to provide campers with daily hands-on investigations and garden explorations that will spark their imagination in STEM and nature! They integrate critical thinking, problem-solving skills and develop a sense of exploration and adventure for campers! Have them discover how to become a backyard gardener, how our food gets from the farm to the plate, and more!

At the Y, campers can choose to discover overnight, day, or specialty camps! Campers have the opportunity to explore nature, find new talents, try new activities, gain independence, and make lasting friendships and memories. Y Camps serve ages 4 through 16, making the Y the perfect place for all students and campers to enjoy their summer!

THE REST OF TEXAS

 

CAMP SUMMIT

A quick 1 hour and 15-minute road trip will bring you to the wide open spaces of Camp Summit! It's a camp for those with disabilities, ages 6 and up, with no upper age limit. They offer programming not only during the summer but all year round! Their summer weeks are divided up by age group to allow campers to make friends with their peers. Campers can enjoy fun outdoor activities like archery, fishing, and swimming, plus indoor activities to beat the heat like arts and crafts!

CAMP BALCONES SPRINGS

Camp Balcones Springs is a VBS where campers can make new friends and try out so many activities! Campers can try fun activities like sailing, horseback riding, arts and crafts, zip-lining, rock-climbing, and swimming with their cabin mates...the list goes on! Open for kids kindergarten through 12th grade, from June to August in two-week terms.

CAMP CHAMPIONS

Camp Champions is an overnight summer camp with endless amounts of fun activities, over 50 to be exact! From waterskiing to rock climbing, sports to fine arts, and kayaking to archery, there is something new to explore for campers every day. Camp Champions is also a tech-free environment, so campers can fully take in the beautiful sunsets on the lake, be present in conversations with new friends, and look back on all of the fun they've had! Camp sessions are for kids finishing kindergarten to 11th grade, with many different sessions offered from June to August!

CAMP HUAWNI

Camp Huawni is a coed summer camp located on over 600 acres in the Piney Woods of East Texas! They are truly off the beaten path with miles of hiking trails, abundant forests, and their own private waterfront. Campers are unplugged from their phones and immersed in nature, giving them the opportunity to cultivate their friendships and creativity here! Camp Huawni caps out at 100 girl campers and 70 boy campers, from 1st through 11th grade, so be sure to enroll ASAP. The camp is open in June and July!

CAMP LONGHORN

Camp Longhorn rests on the shores of Inks Lake and is an overnight camp like no other! Campers second grade and up get to have fun-filled days, gain confidence in themselves through fun challenges, and forge lifelong friendships. At Camp Longhorn, campers are scheduled to get a daily dose of ten fun-filled land and water activities – from archery and pickleball to water skiing and sailing! Open June through August.

CAMP OLYMPIA

Nestled upon the piney woods, Camp Olympia is an overnight camp for boys and girls ages 6 through 16! Campers can choose their own adventure with activities ranging from wakeboarding and horseback riding to rope courses and golf. They provide the perfect setting for fun and adventure along the beautiful shores of Lake Livingston. Campers will make friends and gain independence while building teamwork and leadership skills through the customized camp experience and counselor mentorship that Camp Olympia always delivers!

CAMP OZARK

Each summer over 7,000 kids, ages 7 through 17, choose to spend a session or more at Camp Ozark! With over 400 acres of forested terrain to explore and more than 150 activities to participate in during their 10-week camping season, there is never a dull moment at this camp! Campers can go on an adventure canoeing and kayaking, explore their creative side with digital photography and ceramics, and so much more.

CAMP THURMAN

Camp Thurman is a nonprofit ministry-minded day and night camp for kids in kindergarten through 6th grade. They offer a large variety of exciting outdoor activities with each camp. Their location is a 'sanctuary in a city,' as they are located on 14 acres of trees with rope elements, pools, and many other outdoor activities!

CLUB SCIKIDZ

Club SciKidz is every STEM kid's dream! They offer day camps with a variety of fun activities including Minecraft, Lego robotics, a video game factory, coding, science creations, and so much more! Camps are broken into Pre-K, kindergarten, 1st through 3rd grades, and 4th through 7th grades, so campers will be able to be grouped with their peers to have the best summer camp experience.

PINE COVE

Pine Cove is a VBS and overnight camp for 2nd through 12th graders that offers a variety of outdoor activities, including horseback riding, wakeboarding, and zip-lining! Their theme nights are always the most anticipated and exciting part of the camp, as well as their most notable Blob. One of us grew up going to camp here and highly recommends it!

SKY RANCH

Sky Ranch is a Christian day and summer camp for kids in kindergarten through 12th grade in Texas and Colorado. They have a large variety of outdoor activities from zip lining to horseback riding and kayaking! Their over 30 activities are sure to create lasting memories for your campers!
