Barcelona Wine Bar

Barcelona Wine Bar

This hip yet laid-back spot is perfect for day or night, with a great patio and moody lighting! Pretty much everything about their menu is extensive, featuring wines from all over the world, almost two dozen charcuterie options, and over 30 small plates! They have something for everyone, including classic tapas, vegetables, seafood, meats, and some unique bites. Our favorite is the carrots, which are to die for! Plus, they have plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free (celiac safe too) options for those with dietary restrictions.

Cafe Izmir

Café Izmir

This spot has been around since 1996, with a homey vibe that’s great for long nights of socializing. They serve tapas that are on the lighter side, leaning more towards Mediterranean-style than classic Spanish! You’ll find lots of fresh dips with pita, like hummus and babaganoush, heartier bites like meat and seafood kebabs, and even a vegetarian section of the menu consisting of various grilled veggies! Stop by on Tuesdays for half-priced wines…you’ll find some unique sips on the menu from places like Turkey and Lebanon!

Cafe Madrid

Take a trip to Spain via this colorful spot, modeled after the little cafes found on the streets of Madrid. They’ve been open since 1965, and have been a Dallas staple ever since! Explore over 35 tapas from regions all over Spain, like tortilla española, patatas bravas, and Paella de la casa. To sip, split a pitcher of Sangria 2.0, aka the ultimate sangria made with red wine, white wine, cava, and Tío Pepe sherry.

Sketches of Spain

Sketches of Spain

This modern tapas joint feels like you’re at a hip spot in Barcelona, from the bright interior filled with plants to the quaint streetside patio! Our absolute favorite here is the croquettes filled with cheese and ham, you’re going to want to try a few. Then, explore the Spanish coast via their selection of seafood and fish, like fried cuttlefish, seared prawns, and seafood paella. Don’t sleep on their weekly deals, like Tapa Tuesday: three individual tapas and one sangria for $15, or Hola Paella Thursdays: half-off all paellas, all day.
