If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, we fell in love with Taqueria El Arquito and their tacos de trompo, back in 2021, and are now so excited to have them at Preston Center! We just went for lunch and are obsessed with their new, fast-casual space -- here are all the details!

Taqueria El Arquito
Female-owned is key as it’s not often that you’ll find female-owned taquerias! So we love supporting Taqueria El Arquito for that reason, but also because the food, especially their Tacos de Trompo, are just so good! It’s been a beloved spot for authentic Mexican cuisine since its founding in 2020 with locations at 7 gas stations across the metroplex, plus a brick and mortar in Irving, and now, one at Preston Center!
THE MENU
If we need to mention it a third time, you must try their speciality trompo tacos! But you can also order quesadillas, burritos (including breakfast), gorditas, tamales, esquites, chile relleno, or a variety of tortas!
In addition, they also offer their own spin on non-Mexican dishes like burgers, wings, and fries. And PS, pair your meal with one of their refreshing aguas frescas: horchata and jamaica!

Find Taqueria El Arquito’s new location in Preston Center (right by Navy Blooms and Go Fish Poke) open daily from 7am to 10pm! And yes, that does mean they serve breakfast! They have great migas, huevos rancheros and chilaquiles too!
