VAQUEROS BAR-B-Q

Vaqueros got its start in 2018 and would pop-up in various locations around DFW before making Hop & Sting brewery its permanent home! Owner and pit master, Trey Sanchez has BBQ roots that run deep starting with his dad who opened Arnold's BBQ in East Dallas back in the 80’s.

Over the past few years they gotten quite a bit of attention and have been featured on the Cooking Channel's Man Fire Food and Man's Greatest Food, which named the birria tacos #14 on their list of greatest cheesy dishes in the US! Texas Monthly also listed them as a top 20 bite of 2020!

MENU

Their menu features Texas-style barbecue with a Mexican flare and includes classics like brisket, ribs, sausage, turkey, hot link and pork. Their award-winning bbq birria tacos are an absolute must-try and you can’t forget about all the yummy sides like cowboy potatoes, cheesy beans, apple gorgonzola slaw and more!

We highly recommend ordering one of their insane shareable platters, like the Tour of Tex-Mex, that comes with a little bit of everything! Once you get your food, head over to Hop & Sting and enjoy your BBQ with a cold brew in their beer garden!

HOURS

They are open Thurs-Fri 4-8pm, Sat 12-5:30 pm and Sun 12-5 pm or until they sell out! It’s important to note they are closed the first Sunday of every month!
